Manchester United have re-signed F Zlatan Ibrahimovic on a one-year deal after he was released at the end of last season due to a knee injury. He’s expected to be match-fit by December. In a report by the BBC, Manchester United head coach Jose Mourinho said: “I have no doubt that [Zlatan] will be important in the second part of the season.”
Last season, Ibrahimovic scored 28 goals for Man U, racking up 363 DraftKings fantasy points. He was a goal-scoring force, but he’ll return to a different team as new addition Romelu Lukaku has been the focal point of the potent Man U attack thus far.
For fantasy purposes, it’s a wait and see approach. Zlatan will be match-fit sometime in December so we’ll have plenty of time to assess both his fitness and what his place will be in the United squad. In the meantime, we’ll have plenty of entertainment from the one and only Zlatan.
